ZENDER MILANO AND NEW TYRES

I have just bought a set of Zender Milano wheels (17"x 7,5 ET25) for my GTV6. They are in quite good condition but the laquare finish is peeling off in certain areas and salt has affected the wheels also (grey areas). Can they be refurbished or painted? Any suggestions?
In order to respect the original diameter I 've thought of 205/45/17" W, size tyres (michelin pilot) for 145 Euros each. Any other thought?
I have seen several cars in this forum with these wheels. I guess no modifications are needed.
