Try Alfa Ricambi or Centerline in USA, or Ricambi D-epoca Auto (Australia)

bingo- centerline! good thing bob told me it was left hand thread otherwise i would have destroyed it for sure.
so far the rear wheel bearing replacement has accrued a serious list of broken tools:
1 CHEAP ASS turbocraft 18in breaker bar
1 craftsman breaker bar
1 alfa romeo wheel bearing removal tool (it was like an m20 bolt! completely sheared)
250-300 nm... jeeezus h christmas!
does anyone know of where that special tool is for these lock nuts?
lemme guess it looks kinda like a regular craftsman socket except with pieces of steel welded to it... i thought so: freakin alfa tools.

PS: i am still waiting on my front rotors. GAH!!!!!!ASKDHF 0-123u40213

when I replaced my rear bearings I bought a 50mm socket from gedore and cut the lip with grinder to match ring and I have used it with impact wrench with out breaking it
good luck and remember to heat the bearing casing when fitting new bearings

I always get a new "nut" with the bearing..?

The new style though, octagon-shaped. Have the proper tooling for it too, two of them actually.

The std tool also has a pilot that fits snugly into the wheel bearing so you have less of a problem with the tool falling out/misaligning. :)

When I did my rear wheel bearings, I used a large, steel two prong puller. I used a large socket to remove the old one and simply used the old bearing to push the new one in with the same tools. With the old bearing used, there was no worry to damage.

That's what I use too, the old outer race of a another bearing, grind down the outer dia a touch so it doesn't stick and you have yourself a tool. :)
