does anyone out there have any experience with a tubular front sway bar on a GTV6?
i want to make a tube sway bar that has the same stiffness as a 30mm solid bar.
schroeder make gun drilled splined bars that use detachable bar arms but this is not a cheap set up.
has anyone out there made their own bar?
if so, im wondering what tube was used?
was it a blade type sway bar and were there any problems with welding to the tube?
chromoly has been suggested to me but im not sure how it will last with continuous twisting and im worried it will fatigue and crack?
any ideas, pointers or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
