Caster cushion replacement

Post by Alfettish »

Hi all,
I'm in the middle of replacing my worn cushions with a set from Performatek.
I have the Haynes manual, but have noticed on the 1982 GTV6 there is a nut on the upper wishbone where the caster arm meets it.
I'm just wondering if this is for removal of the arm. In the manual it says you need to screw the adjuster all the way down to get the bush from that side. I'm thinking it would be easier to remove the whole arm rather than upsetting the caster settings.
Anyone know what they are doing?
Tom.
