coilover thoughts?

Post by sh0rtlife »

obviously on my lloyd the stock t-bars and coils out back are going to be to strong of a spring rate(ive already taken 3 coils out of the rear just to keep the car close to stock ride height and need to remove another half a coil atleast)......the milano had a set of bilstiens on it when i got it.

whats your thoughts about coilover sleeve kits like the carrara setup used on afco shocks?...the ID of the sleeves seems to be about right to fit the bilstiens ...obviously id need to beef up the mounts for the shocks but thats not an issue

any input?

There are many here that have gone to the RSR coil over setup. It looks like they have a large range of springs as there are setups to go with the stock t-bars and as stand alone units.

It'd be a start at least.
