What kind of bushes are these? Are they similar to the Watts linkage (or similar) bushes or do they have some sort of rotational property?
I have seen the modified A-arms that Barry(?) has done using bearngs.
What other (read cheap!) options do I have for replacing these items?

No they're nothing like watts bushings. In fact they act like a slider bearing. Readily available is the oem stuff only.

The stock bushes are totally OK as long as they are not worn.
