Rear shock bump rubbers

Post by Typhoon90 »

I just replaced the rear shocks with ones that don't have a bump rubber built in, is the extra 4" of travel on a fairly stock ride height 90 going to cause things to explode?
I couldn't see what would hit first with that extra 4" of suspension travel.....

Regards, Andrew.

The bump stops should be inside the springs at the top.

Hey, you were right! They're kind of hard to see if you're not looking for them. I wonder why the shocks have bumpers too, probably someone fitted the wrong type...
