Hang on guys, just a few more days... The shock maker erroneously fitted the second front set set with the std lower A-arm bifurcated mount  ... I'm going to the rep today to have it changed to an 'eye' bushing so that I can take some pics for you later. Fortunately, the guy has a good repair shop and is very knowledgeable so he can change most everything on the shocks -valving, rod length, type of oil etc. When I fit them on my 1.8T for the upcoming track weekend, I'll also give you all dimension data -open, closed etc. The first car with the new suspension is not around town so I'll install everything and take pics from mine.
Busy day starting today, have to also take my 24v cams to the grinder and verify the new cam master on the Cam-Doctor. To make sure the profile is correct in all aspects, as designed.
More on all later.

No cavities sure but he's got a few cracks in the wrong places. Forget coilovers, what he needs is makeovers.

Good to see you're busy JK and staying off the streets with you mouth open catching flies pervin on the crumpet going by. You need to leave that sort of technical work me fella.

You didn't miss it yet, nobody has. When everything is in place I will show pics and specs, now postponed for after our track weekend April 4-6.

Fer Crissakes get some vids of the track day. Those mini 808 HD cams on ebay are only $50 a pop.

Not a bad idea Z. The clown driving my car last year had one on the side of his helmet; I'll ask about it. Maybe I can mount it on the roll cage middle hoop. It should be fun, I think the 1.8T will be faster than the 24v... The 24v cams aren't ready yet so no chance of having them for the track weekend. Cams or no cams, this thing will understeer no matter what; there's an advantage for the 1.8T right from the go.

JK,

The 808 mini cams are so small, that mounting them to see suspension travel, brake clearance or interference, other things, could be REALLY useful. Just clip on a small LED flashlight with it. You never know what kind of info you can get, could be very useful!

Any updates?
I am keen to see damper plots and spring rates that are used for this set up.

Got sidetracked with a bunch of other stuff (like preparing for the Alfa track weekend, the new 24v cams and finalizing 1.8T tuning) but I'll get back on this as soon as I'm done.
