Can the 2.0 GTV steering rack be used in a GTV6- my GTV6 rack is cactus

Why not use the 75 rack? Just need to figure out the rack to column connection.

The 75 rack will fit subject to adjustments for the steering column length. It will also need an oil reservoir and made up hoses to supply lubrication. It does not require the steering pump to work.

Put a pump ferchrissakes Nothing like twiddling the steering wheel with yer finger.

Geez Zamani I have had it wrong all these years. I thought fingers were for pickin' your nose.
If the 75 rack and the column is installed together you can have height AND reach adjustment. Obviously be sure to have the ignition key that goes with the column ! A pump will help with low speed turns like parking and when you lend your car to mum on mother's day but you will lose the direct response and feel.
Cars with big block cast iron engines and FWD configurations need power steering. These cars do not fit into that category and it is a retrograde step to do so especially if you retain the original sized steering wheel.
