Identifiyng my car...

Despite what the documents say, I have some doubts whether my car is from 1985 -. I've seen somewhere that if you send your chasiss numbers to alfa they'll send you back an answer telling you the color code the car was originally painted, when was it manufactured and where has it been sold. Does anyone of you guys know this "Alfa answer" adress where I should send the question?
