Rear Spoiler ?

I'm looking at an '86 GTV6 that has a black spoiler attached to the rear decklid. I don't recall seeing one like it before, and am wondering if it's authentic.

Could be from a Zender kit. Here's mine with the full kit, Zender mags as well.
