Window Rubber Trim Shrinkage

Post by brookstroutr »

I found a 'quick fix' for the old window exterior rubber trim shrinkage issue that a few have complained about. It's so simple that I saw it on my recent re-spray after passing the no man's land. SWAP SIDES!!! The interior doesn't get exposed to the sun so it doesn't shrink. The profile of the rubber is the same so switch Left to Right & vice versa. Besides, the interior never gets wet.

HTH.....
