I had them lighten the gears in my '84 GTV6 a few months ago. A local shop removed the gears and I sent them to Performatek. Andy (who runs Performatek) was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I would not hesitate to do business with him again. :D

hmm...I do think Mats was just making a comment, no strings attached.

For all of us, I hope Andy is doing well.

We all appreciate your endorsment of an good operator. Goodness knows they are few and far between. However.I think you were a little harsh on Mats with your comments. I really don't read any offence in his initial response.

If you don't agree, well I guess we can leave it there. On the other hand, if you have re-examined the thing, you may care to offer him a gloved handshake. :D

( I say gloved 'cause I wouldn't offer him a bare hand, you never know where the big swede has been, hahhaa)

gtv11636 I heard directly from Andy about two weeks ago, and received tracking information from USPS via him a few days ago so he's certainly still alive.

I did have problems contacting him for a while, whether he's just very busy I don't know, but I've received communication and what I ordered so business is still going.

I appologize to you Mats! thought your comment ment something else, pleas excuse me.
A gloved hand shake would be grate

Anyway! Good news! spoke to andy today on the phone and he's ok.
Was just too busy i guess but thats fine by me.
I was just worried becous its not typical for him not to answer for so long, but i guess he had his own reasons.

Now everything is back on track i hope.

Hey everyone
There is just one thing i want to make clear before i give it a rest!
My only concern when opening this topic was to Andys health! i was realy worried about tha guy.
Hes been nothing but a good honest seller and also a good freind for all the years i'v known him and dealed with him.
It wasnt like him to dissapear for so long and that was the only reason i got concerned about him and opened this topic.
Its realy important for me that pepole would know that its not normal and that he's truely a grate guy and most reliable person i'v known in this business.
