Headlight conversion from Hiperformance store

Post by Mericet »

Just received my headlight kit today. (Thanks to my wife for the birthday present).

Kit was well packed and looks really good. I will let you know how the install goes when I get around to it.

I guess there won't be a reply but still.

How did the instalment go?
How is the light beam and stray light? I would love some in the dark pictures!

I bought the wiring/relay kit (but not new headlights). The components are good quality, the instructions are clear. I wasted a bit of time trying to snake the wiring from behind the left side headlights to the right side headlights. I guess in theory it can be done without removing the grill but in the end I removed the grill. This also allowed me to zip tie the wires in place.

I can't comment on whether the lights are brighter with the relays or not. But I do like the fact the headlight switch is now carrying a lot less current (and thus should last a lot longer).
