I do not have a problem with anyone having a commercial interest and promoting their solutions to a particular problem. Any response from any source is a solution that may or may not be correct or even wanted, the beauty of the BB is that many solutions are presented.
To limit commercial interests limits our options. Commercial interests (whether they generate no, small or great profit or loss) could possibly have a disclaimer attached to the response.
Maybe there could be a section for vendors that those commercial interests can direct people to or their own website.
I enjoy the input from JJ and Barry, but neither of them have behaved with particular honor recently. And, in fact, many others have kept this pathetic thread in performance/3.7 liter going.
I'm pretty sure most of us expressing 'regret' is concerned at the airing of dirty laundry more than anything.
Take it outside guys. Find an area other than the tech sections to blow.
