My 164 3.0 24v engine had (No longer has ) the thin runners which measure about 38mm ID but the plenum ports are 43mm ID. The rubber couplings from the plenum to the runners step down then the bottom of the runners ftare back up to 43mm ID again where they bolt to the injector manifold plate.
The 164 3.0 12v in my Dads GTV has even thinner runners again - they seem to be about 35mm ID.
And my old 2.5 (before I oppened them out) had even smaller still.
Plenum ports on the 164 24v can be opened up to 46mm or even a bit more.
I fabricated my own runners to match this and then matched the injector manifold to this as well.
Has anyone tried the 164 24v runners on a 12v - I'm thinking of bolting my old ones on my dad's car.

Just to rise my topic a bit...
Plenum is welded. Only thing to is to polish internal edges and make new liners. I've attached power steering pump, since car had this option. You'll probably notice that pump differs from original - I took one from AR 164 V6TB and pump mount is from AR 156 V6. Pretty nice mixture of Alfas inside...
Friend of mine took a look at ECU and found that this is one of latest BOSCH M1.7 versions. It has a code 832 which tells that it is made for 231 HP. For rest of you with 24v, this list may be interesting (codes for ECU's and output they handle):

Here is the new (old) solution for water feed:
Local "clutch expert" did reparation with some interesting material - will see how it performs:
Found steering wheel which suits better
Shot of bellhousing and new brake booster (from twin spark) - it allows clearence for 24v...
I've tried to use old mount, but it was impossible...
At the end, I had to replace existing one with original from twin spark. Everything was "easier" after difficult fiting of this "black box"! Brake pedal is now closer to gas pedal (about 15mm)...
After all done, finally (!) engine slides in... You can see few details were it's a bit tight.
Day was sunny when she went to local exaust shop... It seems that Zamani will have impressions of my exhaust soon.

It was a bargain - around 300 euro.
What I received for that money;
-Headers
-One flex pipe
-Pipe straight to rear muffler
-Intake runners
Good thing was that I had collectors (3 into 1) and joints already made so overall price was really good.

Time to refresh my topic with a story and some vid ...
Yesterday we completed wiring and engine responded really nice. It fired up! Have to rebuild rear brake system - main pipe actually, and car will be put back in garage until spring when I'll finish body.

A note* Exhaust system is pretty brutal- since it contains only one straight through "muffler" but potential for sound that I expect is really good. (I know that there is at least million different tastes and different ears so I won't offend if you criticize what you hear here)
Project lasts so long and this was the best time to receive some blessings through firing this beauty.
