Incredibly tired now, 80Km of Snowmobile riding today, mountains, lakes, tight forest and finally our ice handling track! Great fun was had by all. :D

Almost back together, need a hose clamp and spark plugs then it can howl again!

New control arms up front and I have the trailing arm bearings for the rear...
Probably a good idea to change those leaking flexipipes as well. ;)

Mats, your engine seems to be fitted the wrong way, 90 degrees out of correct alignment. Do something about that, please, you are messing up the board.

It's done. But I will relocate my GTV to a new spot in the garage so it will still be a bit of a standstill in the progress. The good thing is that I'm motivated again to work on the car. :D

Pretty decent, right?
The wheels totally transformed the car, incredible difference both in looks and in ride/handling!

Oooooooooo nice!

I can't wait to drive mine. I skimmed the heads and cleaned up the ports and it should respond better now with those cams.

Btw are those 17" wheels lighter than the 16" black sport pack wheels?

Funny thing, I had both laying around but never even hold one of each in my hands to feel the difference... :)
The 17" wheels are very light though, I was a bit afraid that they would make the car behave differently because of unsprung weight and inertia but there are no effects at all compared to the 16" rims I replaced (not the speedlines).
These are Tenzo-R DC6, had to correct them to be able to fit them (enlarged the bolt hole "wells" to fit the wobbly-bolts) but it was worth it in the end. Six spoke black/gray wheels just feels right on a 155, adds a bit of DTM '93 feel I think. 8)

Which cams are you going to use? Stock or something else? I just love the stock setup, never thought I'd say somethink like this but it's just excellent! May not even fit a sports exhaust...

Black spoke rims defiantly bring that racing feelin back . We got similar on our red 155, but no black on bumpers.

Bumpers, mirrors, handles and spoiler needs a respray though so I might just make the whole bumper red. Will probably look better. :)

Nooo... leave it original. Every time I see one of those totally colored in 155s it looks like a cheap bodge job after crash damage.

Not yet, switching to another spot in the garage and it was a bigger job then expexted.
Found five extra Nord heads in the shelves. Two TS heads and one (!) 2.5 V6 head... Not to mention the complete 75 TS engine and 155 Q4 engine. 10 mixed camshafts, three gearboxes and so on, and so forth...

The new spot needed some work too so a fresh coat of paint on the floor, light fixtures and a work bench/storage shelf has been checked off the todo list. So a lot has been done but it's not finished yet. Motivation has returned with a new fresh spot to work on though! :D
