Zamani , are there enough pics here to give you a good reason to come next year
More classics to follow
There is an old Giulietta that belongs to Paulo which has travelled from Cape Town .
More of this 75 . Quite funny as it says 1.6 on the badge but it's hiding 450hp from video he clocked 260km/h down the straight
What a meticulously sorted car . Every cable runs parralel with each other and p clipped at equal intervals . Crazy neat !
Note the custom crank pulley ..... Actually note the custom engine !!!
Wow, look at all the models. Very impressive. If they have that many Alfasuds.......wait was there any Arna? :
I definitely need to make it out there. Maybe we could make it a Alfagtv6.com get together? 2019 or 2020 Spettacolo?
I need to send some of you guys some Alfagtv6.com t-shirts, make sure you guys wear the shirts to Alfa events. Probably a good way to raise some funds. Although we have enough funds for the next few years.
Anyone want to help me design a logo for the shirt? No nude babes, that’s probably what MD would send me....
Jim , don't get MD so excited so close to the end of the weekend for those Ozzie blokes
Z maybe we can get this artist to do something for us .. I already have these shirts and the quality of print and material is excellent . Oh Jim don't ask if I have ever seen an iron
I included the 75 one as well ... Can't not have that in the collection .
I think the topic above might have to be modified to temporary relocation to South Africa. I have been in SA for last two months finishing off my late fathers cars :- the 1600 Junior and his spider. My daily drive here has been my old 156 but it’s getting rather tired with my last effort trying to fix the plastic fuel pump cap on the tank. This got me thinking that I needed another GTV 6 here in SA so I decided to purchase a really good condition on from Dawie at Glenwood. At the same time Dawie’s mechanic got a really cheap 156 !
The wheels might not be everyone’s cup of tea but I’m not changing anything at this stage. The car originally came with five bolt 14” from the SA factory ( most had 15”) and the previous owner wanted something to resemble the 15” rim but to have more of a dish and look the like the compomotive. So hence a change back to four bolt hubs.
