I believe it was the BMW E30 3 series booster you could use easily...

RZ, thats sad. I use a Giulietta booster in my car. Gives good clearance over the 24v motor. Is it just brake booster you need ?

Giulietta booster is the same as a 75 4 cylinder booster, should not be difficult to find over here. :)

The other stuff is probably custom-made... :(

Hi all..thanks for the chat Marc, I have been off the internet for 2 weeks due to building renovations at home and of course flew off to Zambia and Angola for a week.
Identifying stolen vehicles from South Africa there.
No Marc, nor Ferrari's but all of them Toyota Prado`s !!

Marc,
While waiting for (=trying to wrestle) my fully prepped transaxle from Andrew Garcia I had no choice but to stick a spare stock 3.0 transaxle in my 3.7 for shake-down, dyno, etc. Not surprisingly the clutch lasted only a limited time - not even enough to fully map the engine  To get it back up and running I received a 4-puck race clutch from Andy (at Performatek). I will swap it shortly, but it should get it back up and running at a moderate cost (list of $250) - there are no guarantees, but this clutch holds more than his 9-button carbon fiber clutch which is for street cars and according to Andy holds about 300 rwhp (although I doubt he will warrantee it given your engine). This is with stock pressure plate. The 9-button may be something to consider if you are getting impatient

For my other race car  I put together an oil cooler setup fairly affordably. Get a sandwich plate with thermostat, make two oil lines, get the cooler, mount it and you are done.

Where is the pump in this manual? :? without a pump there will not be much flow through the cooler i guess...

Pump for engine oil cooler :? SZ already has transaxle oil cooler. I assume Marc is looking for engine oil cooler for his 3.7 24v.

You're absolutely right....
I somehow got it in my head that Marc needed a cooler for the diff. :? And i was wondering how that would work without a pump.

Maybe i should see an eyedoctor.... :(

So please ignore my previous post!!!! :wall:

Another? You lucky... Any pics? I always wanted an SZ - maybe now that the exchange rate is improving (from a US perspective)...

Besides the clutch the 3.7 is mechanically ready for the track, and it has been out for one shake-down day. However, I got quite a bit of cosmetics to finish (body-kit + paint, currently in various shades of primer) and sorting of wheels and tires... it goes on and on... Anyway, it is healthy with a project to keep you busy and out of trouble... At least that is what I tell my wife  My 6-year old has already declared the 3.7 his race car, and I can have the 3.0 12v Milano race car :D

RZ,

I have a clutch plate. 4-puck, sprung. Will sell for $120 + shipping or we can discuss pricing. I can send you photos.

As for booster, I'm using the 164 with Alfetta pedals for the 24V.

Don't use the 4-puck for the street. It will drive you nuts :wall:
I have had a 4-puck in my 3.0 12v Milano race car for a couple of years, and it is fine for the track, but I would not want to live with it on the street. My $0.02 - sorry Zamani.
