Phil IS wrong! You can NOT "test" an Alfa transaxle LSD by lifting the car's drive-wheels up in the air, placing it in neutral, spinning one wheel in one direction and assessing the other wheel's movement (or lack thereof) and conclude that there is no LSD in there! The LSD needs LOAD on it to work!
Anybody here IN THE KNOW can confirm this!
Any way, Chuck, you must be delusional - accusing me like this and dragging Glenwood's name in to it this way! Dawie de Villiers and Glenwood Motors in South Africa have NOTHING to do with this! You and I have a had some personal dealings that have now gone sour unfortunately - fine - but don't drag their name in to this! MANY members here on the gtv6.com, over on the AlfaBB, as well as Alfa enthusiasts around the world have purchased many things from me personally - NOBODY can say that I have not given them something that they paid me for.
I paid Andrew Garcia from Garcia Alfa Racing in Houston Texas almost 4,000 dollars in total to do all of the gear lightning (cross-drilling and back-cutting), shot-peening, clutch lightning & balancing and the LSD modifications on your box - I have ALL of the invoices and I have shared them with you.
As a part of that work, Andrew was SUPPOSED to replace the two existing LSD friction discs in there, as well as install two ADDITIONAL LSD clutches and shim it all up for a 50% lock-up! I tested that box here personally and it was perfect! The box went back to Andrew (once it was sold to you) to have it completely disassembled, inspected, the case sand-blasted and refinished and all of it re-sealed with new axle seals and case bushings for the case as well! He was also supposed to install a BRAND NEW 8-puck street/track clutch for you (this was all an additional 1,000 dollars work on that second round to his shop in Houston), before he shipped it DIRECTLY to you in California!)
From day one the bloody clutch slipped and from day 1 Andrew agreed to replace the clutch. Turns out - and you and I BOTH only found out in the last 30 days here - that Andrew Garcia really screwed MANY people over and in fact it now turns out that he installed a USED clutch disc in there! He has agreed to replace it and I have agreed to do the work, but his deceit is also now the source of a suit that I am filing against him (in addition to the 5,000 dollars that he screwed me out of on some 156 gearboxes and other parts!)
More can be read here on his thievery!

You insist that I am somehow to be held responsible for ALL of it - personally - and that I should pay somebody else's bill on this!?
...to Alfa, or not to Alfa? That is the question...
