Looking great Mats! I'm planning on something similar for my dash in regards to the instruments- probably going to stick with the VDO gauges I already have in the dash- plenum looks great- can't wait to see a video of this thing going....!
Fixing it bit by bit....

Yes, the 155 V6. :)

Might have to add the 166 V6 front brakes before I go... :)

There is a guy on alfa155.org who has brackets for the 166 calipers for sale. He is in the UK. I might be interested to get a set myself. Is this the same caliper as the Pug 607?

I wonder why they didn't just use the GTA 330 calipers? So few cars but so many different calipers, Alfa never learns!

166 callipers are easy to find and cheap.... The 330 GTA calliper is rather expensive. for example my first set of 166 callipers cost me 100 euros used while the 330mm GTA ones were 400 euros used.

Yeah, my 166 calipers were 100 Euro also. 33GTA came after the 166 3.0 24v, also rare as hens teeth.

The brits are obsessed by the thought of using the 16" Speedlines, I'm not. They are quite nice looking but very wrong offset and very outdated designwise. So I'm not forced to use a 305mm disc as they are, I'm eyeing a 321mm disc from an Astra Turbo, same height but god swept height and so on. I have to take the car out of storage and pull a wheel to see if it's going to work. I updated the drawing to reflect the larger disc but I will not cut anything before doing some thinking.

There is a 330x28 disc from a Lancia Delta 1.8 that has 4x98... maybe that's an easy option for you?

this one

this one
Now THAT was a good tip! :D

Total height is off by 1.2mm but a sheet metal spacer will solve that easily, everything else is just perfect. IF a 330mm disc fits in a 17" wheel that is... Not sure why it shouldn't though..?

Thanks!

You're welcome...

i have 330x32 with 166 callipers in OZ Superleggera 17" and Speedline multispoke 17", fits perfect. Only thing to look for is if it clears the callipers on the inside of the spokes, otherwise you'll need a small spacer.

Thanks Kevin!

The cooler goes in the right fender, behind the headlights. It'c current position is horisontal with the connections going forward, there will be ducting done to it and some kind of shield to protect it from debris from the wheel.
