Well Holy Cr*p! The board is still here!

Post by x-rad »

Hey Hey There!! How has everybody been????

What can I say , Mats!! You were right, I'm back!!

Found a major problem with the Porsche 968...it alsways runs perfectly...no fun...no soul. So I found a 1985 GTV6 same year same color as my old one. WHOOHOOO!! and a good price, too.

Wish I kept my old spares , especially the extra 3.0 engine, C+B cams, carillo rods..etc!

Anyway, hope all of you have been well. Can't wait to start rebuilding and posting again!

No way, rebuild the engine first, then replace the harness, new ECU, then as a last step, replace the sock in the fuel tank, that's how REAL MEN do it! :wall:

welcome back btw.

Having trouble with my old "x-rad" so started a new one "xrad." Seems appropriate since I'm starting with a new car.

There you go — fine running gtv6 and as if there isn't enough to do to keep 'em in good shape, you're looking to go srewin' around with 3.0's and who knows what else! :P

Hey, I'm pulling my gas tank next weekend! — Welcome back to the fold. GV

Does everyone remember the gas tank 'problem man, I feel like an idiot not checking the basics first....

New plan for 2010:
White 85 gtv6: check fuel flow first!!!!
3.0 164S motor(low miles): in the garage!
plenty O spares: on the way!

Now to create a unified piece of beautiful Italian mechanical alchemy...or at least something that runs for a week or so...
