How did you lowered compression ratio to 8.5? Thicker gasket?

Hi and thanks for the compliment.

The base of the engine is from 75 1.8 Turbo with compression ratio 7.5. I increase this up to 8.5.

That is my next project ( engine from 155 TS) beginning not kwon yet.

Would like to see that engine in turbo application!

I'm not yet sure which one it is.
Either the
1.8 = 1773 ccm³, stroke = 80 mm, bore = 84mm
or the
2.0 = 1995 ccm³, stroke = 90 mm, bore = 84 mm

I prefer the 1.8 because is legal street for me (tax and documents).
But the decision is not fix....

Are those numbers accurate for the 1.8? Very different from the classic 1750/1.8 figures.

Yeah. 155 8V engines not the same as Nords or early 164 TS & 75 TS.

There are 3 different 155 "Nord" engine

1.7 = 1749 ccm³, stroke = 80, bore = 83,4
1.8 = 1773 ccm³, stroke = 80, bore = 84
2.0 = 1995 ccm³, stroke = 90, bore = 84

I'm not 100% familiar with the 155 engine this is what I now.

Some new Pics...
During fast driveing is it not easy to control everthing or to look always at the gauges.
For the monitoring I use a small flash controller and LED Lamps and when something is wrong the lamps are start to flashing.
I monitoring:
Oil presure
AFR
EGT
Boost
RPM
Water,Oil & Air Temp.
Fuel Pump

do you know what the specs of the camshafts are in your turbo engine?

yes, actually it is the normal way.
But once I drove very fast on the secondary road and try to check my gauges, after I realized that my eyes are not on the road for a few seceond and I was the wrong streetside.....
That was the reason to build the LED alarm, when they are out everything ist Ok.....

I've try with a some camshafts and now I use the
Intake side
DELTA S 14 ( ALFETTA GTV 2000 DELTA for the Tipo 016.55 )
and on the outlet
colombo-bariani
ART.107.290S

I also tried the C&B ART.107.290S on the intake and the 105.48 on the outlet, but the engine turned not so easy over 6500 RPM. Maybe they need more experiment for better result.

BTW. for the Delta S14 camshaft I dont have any data, maybe somebody can help me...thanks!
