I've heard of hub caps being knocked off in SA but now they have moved into the bonnet trade? Give the man back his bonnet will ya?

Md, anything around the gtv 3.0 is gold. But dont temp fate as i had my one gtv stolen as getaway car when i was gassed while sleeping. No worries was ok but the buggers stole the rims and ran the bearings. BUT they left my bonnet grill so i know it was not a fellow concours entrant ( then again im not sure if i gassed myself while sleeping after a beanstew supper then went sleep driving)
This grill along with bonnet, spoiler, rear badge , red pinstripe are the only cosmetic pieces that seperate the gtv 3.0 from the 2.5.

Whoah money I'm a vendor. ( promise I'm not) this is just a labour of love thing to help split costs when restoring these cars . Also pure luck having the original manufacturer of these grills to reproduce them. Wonderfully story how he went about doing bonnets for the cars in the eighties. I will post that some time.
Arguti I can find out about the caps as I did see them today at AK Components (kya sands south Africa) or you can call them direct. Chaps name is also Kevin .

I can't believe it's almost 2.5 years since I've owned the 3.0 , just shows you how time flies. I don't drive the car a helluva lot, but when I do, it puts a big smile on my face. A few months ago, I took her for a beautiful scenic cruise to Franschhoek. While I was having some pizzas at Allora, I noticed 2 guys taking pics of my car. I thought they were just a bunch of fanatics, only to find out later that it was for an online magazine/article. Here are some pics courtesy of HoodRideSA. I've also managed to get the build no. from the engine pulley...my car is #91 out of 212.
