Looking good , I would heat up and knock the chassis on inside of the arch back . You probably find it will only be about 15 mm on the lip where the inside mudguard ( cavity guard ) . Your white rims are still nicer . :D

the white rims aren't bad, but they are used quite commonly and weigh a ton, the speedline mistrals are 3pce, realy light and very rare...........and i like them better

Lighter always wins . Your cross brace in engine bay to engine is excellent . Very clever . You have the diagonal brace back to firewall and then combined to keep engine braced . The one does not interfere with the the other . I'm gonna steal that idea , I hope you don't mind .

steal away..... :D
i've used aluminium rods wich are treadcut (?) on the ends. all is easely removed. actually , i did it before on the gtv turbo, it realy helps stiffening up. i still want to brace the frontbeam on wich the swaybar is mounted

for anyone interested, the steeringpump of an later model alfa(164) doesn't work well with an steeringrack of the 75, it cooks the oil and after a while the seals blow. turns out the workingpressure of the 164pump is 100bar, that of a 75 is 130bar! i have changed to a 75 unit at the cost of a considerable amount of blood sweat &tears

could you take more detalied pictures of the engine/shock tower brace?
how does it attach to the engine and the chassis at the fire wall and the shock towers?

i have extended the bracing in the enginebay to the front and castorballmounts in preparation of a 32mm (hollow) stabi (swaybar)
