gtv v6 3l with a bit of a diffrence

Post by Trevor Lloyd »

hi everyone

My names Trevor and im a Alfaholic....

i have a few of them now but the one that means the most to me will be my gtv 3l but its not really like the other 3l around here in sa....

i dont really know all to much about the car from what i can see at some point in its life it was a twin turbo and has now got a quad cam 3l in it after alot of work...

car is not 100% finished yet but we close now just got a few more wires to go and some bits here and there but i think il have it 100% in the next month or so

i was more hoping some one had a bit of info on the car i was told it did some time at the drag seen and so on but it is a amazing car that much i can say for it :)

il post a few more pics as i can :)

so any info please do let me know

Welcome.. :D

That's a nice looking GTV. I'm not a big fan of aftermarket bumpers but these look rather nice, they match the shape of the car.

If there is anyone who would know the car it's probably Kevin. I guess he can tell you something about it. :)
Drive it like you stole it...

Just when you think you know all the conversion done here , this one has come out the woodwork and none of the main alfa tuners know anything about this car . What we do know is it was an original 3.0 carb gtv once upon a time . This bodykit was probably done in the early 90's . It's got some great go faster and stopping bits on I'm sure Trevor will update on .
I think Trevor is the youngest alfanut on the forum with the most amount of Alfas . Good to see the young generation flying the transaxle flag with a REAL alfa :!:

Thanks Kevin

its like they say when the alfa bug bites make sure you ready to dedicate your life to it hahahah

so as for the fun bits to it

running ap brakes with bilstein Suspension and 28mm torsion bars
converted to 3l quad cam
powermods (gotech) pro mfi controller
custom air intake and plenum
custom brake booster and water bottle along with radiator change for 2 stage fans
complete rewire done on car (mainly due to fire damage wen i got the car)
believe the clutch has been changed as well but not confirmed as of now
racing cobra seats with original pin stripe black interior and long dash

im sure there is alot i have forgotten but il post it as soon as i do remember
