So after many years we have an alfa in our drive way again this time it's a GTV .
For now the plan is to fix a few things and enjoy it.

Congratulation powermods. Seem to me like a very early version and even not in original color I like it. Is it a conversion from a TS? I also noticed the whole ignition key unit is removed and replaced with a button. So you don't need a key to start it at all?

Great project car . No rust . Out of interest what are the last three digits on your vin number . Is near the 400 figure . Did you see Konrad was selling a 3.0 interior . For those outside SA it was only a handfull of 2.5 that has the recaro pinstripe interior as Alfa Romeo SA kept the old 2.0 style for these cars . Note these cars came standard with aircon .

Cool . I see the a/c unit is still attached to dash but probably removed in engine bay as you say . The GTV without a/c has a different centre consul .

So rack ends and tie rods were toast on the GTV so today I finally got chance to change them not a bad job thought it would be harder because I was going to be doing it on the garage floor and not the lift at work but wasn't bad at all.

so it been a wile so thought i better post an up date.
well windscreen wipers were not working so started poking around before the holiday season and tried all sorts of things to get them to
work it turned out to be a fuse
Then I decided to change brake pads and gear box oil witch didn't help for the crunch in second gear and gave the chassis a coat of rubberizing.
Then the last thing the clutch master cylinder witch I finally replaced today had been putting it off for a wile my dad and I got started at around 8 and was done by 10:30 and it feels great
to have no clutch shudder no slipping nothing.
