Hi everybody! Few years ago I came here with my GTV6, a special "Grand Prix" version, the one with the Rayton Fissore body kit. Inbetween, I sold this very nice gtv6 and also my 156 GTA to buy another very special GTV6 : a 3.0L from South Africa. Of course I know quite well some members of this forum, such as Kevin and Rush. And that's Kevin who asked me to show my 3.0L here. 8)
I bought this gtv6 2 years ago and I'm very happy with it even if it was a nightmare about the importation in Belgium, mainly because I was not sure to get the car after the full payment! I had to wait 9 months after payment to get her and had to pay twice the transportation to Europe  But ok, now I have the car, I resprayed totally the body (and all plastic parts) and checked everything ...
If you ever need some documents about the gtv6, I also have a webiste that some of you may know : www.gtv6-156gta.be
I'll put some photos later...

The car probably had a small accident (front right) when in SA. Everything was masked and the paint was "bizarre" at this place. I decided to replace the part and to remake a new hand-made steel part around the right light.

There was also few rust (very few and not deep when compared to our european gtv6...) at in inner front wings.

The interior was removed totally and everything was cleaned and checked but it was good indeed...

Engine compartment was cleaned and I did quite nothing on it (just routine like changing benzine hoses, etc) as it was looking good. I made 2 new exhaust manifolds, identical to the special ones on the 3L. The new ones are in stainless steel. The rest of the exhaust system was in very poor state : I changed everything with NOS original parts.

Photos taken 2 days ago on the circuit of Zolder (Belgium). It was for the presentation of the 4c to the belgian Alfa Romeo dealers. I run a lot and it was really funny! Car was perfectly running, engine is really impressive compared to a standard 2.5L GTV6 and the only (small...) problem was braking.
Enjoy it!

And finally, here is my second gtv6 (1st series from mid 1983),a standard european 2.5L version (here with the special Rial wheels done for the special german Grand Prix versions that has nothing to see with the Rayton Fissore Grand Prix versions...) in perfect state!

Xavier , welcome back . Your restoration to originality right down to replicating the exhaust manifold design is perfect . That's a great pic of the car turning into that Right hander . These cars are fun to drive with the huge low down torque while hearing those carbs draw in air .
