I am Simon and have been living in Valencia, Spain for the past 6 years, I have also owned my 1984 GTV6 for about the same time. I bought it in England just before I came out and have used it for many memorable road trips around this corner of Europe. Most of the problems I have had with it have been due to old age, high miles or incompetent mechanics. I have gradually sorted it out with the odd upgrade as things have needed to be replaced and use it to drive 12 miles to work and back every day. As we all know: These cars are brilliant!
Update, I now live in Porto, Portugal. Are they any users of this site in this area. I have seen loads of classic alfas here. It is classic car heaven compared to Valencia! I saw a SZ on the way home from work yesterday. Many more people have classic cars here.
