Removing Milano steering wheel....won't budge

What is the trick to getting my Milano steering wheel off? I undid the hub nut but even with a steering wheel puller all I'm doing is bending the hub where the wheel attaches to it. Is there some magic involved here? I have removed tons of Fiat steering wheels and never had a problem.

look at at the boot of the hub steering...

near the tread of the 'big nut' of steering wheel, there is two holes 180° oposition.

in fact this is not two holes but two treads.probably m6*1.00.
just built a tool to use it as an extractor with the help of these treads.

You can also try the following: Find a nice solid piece of metal (a soft metal is preferred) about the diameter of a 1/2" socket extension (actually that is what I used last time). Place this on the center of the steering rack (where you removed the nut holding the wheel on) and give it a few sharp blows with a hammer. The vibrations help loosen the splines of the wheel. If you do not use a soft metal, take care not to damage the threads or the steering rack itself.
