Oh and a 83 GTV6 with a 2.5 (thought it was a 3.0 for a bit) from a 88 Milano.

Hey Greg,

How do you like the Mauser? I have a M1 Carbine and a SKS, I thought the Mauser would be better for target shooting.

'70 Cutlass Convertible
'78 GL1000
'84 XL350R
'85 XR80R
'86 VFR700F
'89 VFR750R (RC30 K)
'91 VFR750F

I also have a '91 Accord on it's 3rd engine, but I really don't like to talk about it...

Sam, the Bike Farmer. Seriously, you should see his pasture....full of contented, grazing bikes.

Me:

'04 WRX (it's like driving an explosion)
alloy-carbon racing bike (no engine-type machine)
6 month old daughter (toy?? oh well, close enough)
Wife's '98 VW Passat (for all my maintenance needs)
SamW's GTV6 in my driveway

MJR,

Unless someone here owns the Miss Budwieser unlimited hydroplane, that jet probably takes the "toy" cake....

Do you have second gear "crunch" at mach 2+ ????

Sam, the 8mm Mauser is very accurate and has great power and range. The stock sights are adjustable up to 2000 meters. With a scope so you could actually see something at that range it would be awsome. I suggest getting a Yugoslavian version. They were made with the same German tooling but the Yugos were not using forced labor, enduring round the clock bombing and suffering material shortages so the Yugoslavian guns are better than the German units. Plus they are dirt cheap.

It also shoots through anything, you really have to be careful with it because it hits the target AND whatever is behind the target, and whatever is behind that etc. etc. It's also cheap to shoot. Plenty of WW2 surplus 8mm ammo out there. Sure it's 50 years old, but it works.

Hehe, perhaps it is the way in America :)

The only people I know with guns here are farmers.
