AHAHHAHAHAH OMG, there isn't a smilie for that... piss funny. Of course i've completely forgotten how to spell that now. Thanks mats. You meatball. (tho, lets not go there again)

Tho on the other hand, Greg confirmed what i've always believed to be true; americans, southerners in particular, live under a rock. Explains a lot of their foreign policy. (whooa baby, lets not go there either!)

As for fritten, lets not bring nationality into it and dredge up the past. We all know what the german equivalent of "french fries" were....

I had better shut up before people start to take me seriously. Although I really do have the storm shelter, I wasn't kidding about that.

A storm shelter could be a good idea. Either to go yourself to fiddle with the car pars and lock family out. Or lock the kids/wife in and hae a peaceful time in the garage.

Don't use it the Belgian way though!

This assumes Barry is NOT an alien... does it not?

One may question, and rightfully so, how safe an assumption that is! :D

I believe it is this very sad story Micke and RZ were referring to:
http://edition.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/europ ... m.dutroux/

Not something to joke about IMHO.

Come on Jes, you know there is not a single person on this board that would condone let alone make light of, even if in a facetious way, the actions portrayed in the article you posted.

You have taken, or rather mis-taken, the jocularity and light banter far to seriously.

Do us all a favour and delete the link for it has no place on this board.

Brian,

It seemed someone didn't know what was meant with the "Belgian" comment. The above link simply clarifies what was referred to.

Just to be clear: In case someone didn't know, I simply wanted to avoid unfortunate comments. That's all.

Hey Jes,

Thanks for clarifying with the link - now BOTH Brian AND I are informed.... (At least, now I know which countries to avoid....)

Yeah, not a joking matter.
...to Alfa, or not to Alfa? That is the question...
