I saw a videoon youtube of a 75 V6 at the Ring. I wonder if it was you guys. The driver was grinding on downshifts. Are the gearboxes for the cars really that bad or was it the driver??
I can count the number of times I grinded the gears of my car for the 13 years I had it, and it doesn't exceed the number of fingers I have.
But I was told that the cars there are tired, and so I guess I wasn't too surprised if gears were grinded.
Your thoughts?

My thoughts: I don't understand how it can be so cheap to drive with Ron. Of course the cars arn't top notch.
Someof the cars grind like crazy but it doesn't matter, you have other issues to deal with on the ring.

If you drive behind JimK, does he throw fruits out the window to slow you down?

Saw the video now, they speak swedish and drive like they never saw a alfetta gearbox before...

Grinding boxes and all (everybody drives them things one way or the other) you can't beat a
FAST lap with Ron when he's feeling good. There's fast, faster and Ron...the guy could almost do
without the brakes...must be
very embarrasing to be in a much more potent and expensive car when he's on the warpath, hahah! Having to move over for a...17yr old TS !!
