No agreesion any more. they are all too soft round and pillowy. Alfas need edges and delicate lines, as well as curves. just look at something like the 147gta or new GT. fast, sounds nice, but about as agreesive looking as a shrew. The GT looks like a half sucked boiled sweet, spat out with wheels on it. And the brera is hideous in IMO, another overgrown unecessarily heavy bulky blob, with a big fat ass.

Hmm interesting. The Tuscan was supposed to have started production 1999, so I wonder who used what there. Because it certainly looks to me that TVR has taken the drawings and simply given it more aggressive 'on steriods' styling.
I think the Brera is a beautiful car though. Have you seen one in person out of interest? Great drive too. Even with the use of the GM block, Alfa has managed to retain that distinct Alfa V6 growl.

The Brera show car looked great... but the translation to front wheel drive hot hatch kinda lost something. The 8C doesn't really do anything for me either.Rookie ROX wrote:Hmm interesting. I think the most stunningly agressive looking thing around is the TVR Sagaris... looks like the kinda car I'd draw during boooring lectures.

Just a nice blend of form and function...

When I saw the Brera in Geneva I almost wet myself, the production car is a complete bastardisation with more or less everything changed...
The 8C was there too but looked like a pile of poo compared to the Brera showcar, that turned out quite nice but I wish they had don the Brera on the Maserati platform instead...

That TVR Sagaris is a stunning horn piece. I am imagining it black. OOh yeah !! Somehow me thinks I could live with the roof...sheit, I could even live IN it. mmmm, mmmmm.

OT: There's rumour they're meant to produce a GTA version of the Brera, possibly a twin turbo V6, let's hope it happens. Then you've also got the Autodelta Brera 3.2 C which is a supercharged V6.
