GTV6.com shirts

Post by zambon »

Here is a message I sent to Michael:
Michael,
I have thought of making some T shirts to raise a few chips for your site (I have a friend who is a screen printer).
I would buy 10 or 15 shirts, print them up, and sell them through the site. After the price of the shirts is covered I would give all proceeds as a donation to the site.
What do you think I should ask? $12? $15? $18? Or, to put it another way, how much money should go to the site per shirt?
Long or short sleeve shirts? Both?
What do you think?

Michael said:
I think $15 sounds very reasonable - maybe long and short? $18 for the long? The cool thing about a long sleeve option is for track use (we are supposed to wear long sleeved cotton shirts).
How about artwork?

Regarding artwork, I was thinking I would use the AlfaGTV6.com-home of the transaxle- just as it appears above, along with a GTV6 photo posterized in photoshop.

Helpful people with downtime might consider posting posterized photos on this thread for consideration. I plan on using only 1-2 colors in order to keep cost under control (more money for the site). I will most likely have to pay $20-25 per screen. In other words, per color.

Well, shirt would be gone then, I suppose, but you would have the tatoo...

For TT with AROSC, yes, cotton long sleeve is required - haven't seen them object to print. For Race I believe you do need real suit.

No, please explain.

Since you didn't understand the long sleeve with print I figured it was worthwhile educating you as you probably otherwise thought we were allowed in race group in our B'day suit :D

Flip-flops work great for heel-and-toe - you should try it. 8)

:D So,James ,whats the final result here??
Is it going to happen??I see the kids are still deciding if they want big macs or kfc.... :D :D :D with the odd flip flop thrown in for good measure.. :D

If I may,my input here??A quality golf shirt,something with class...too many bad cheap t-shirts going around.... 8)

If you go racing, you dress to go racing!! Not in a long sleeve plastic anorak or wind breaker!!..It happens..

Baz,

Didn't you recently drive with shorts on the track?

James,

$18 is ok as long as it is quality stuff.
