300Bhp GTV6 (116) 2.5??

Hehe we seem to get the good ebay descriptions here in Oz.
Check this out a 300Bhp Gtv6 looks like a 2.5 engine only by looking at the cam covers but...........is 300Bhp possible from a 2.5 with AFM & standard plenum.....
maybe that one off dyno run to 9,000 Rpm its possible hehehe

It looks like it has the stock AFM, fuel pressure regulator, plenum and ignition box, so I doubt it has 300 hp. To get 300hp from a NA 2.5 would require some real magic.

Even a seriously reworked normally aspirated 2.5 is lucky to get much over 200 horsepower with L-Jet. The old Autodelta specs for a 200 horse 2.5 included about everything you could do inside the motor, high compression pistons, cams, headers, headwork, etc. That only got it up to 200 hp. If it was enlarged to 3+ liters and had 6 itbs, Gotech, and serious internal mods I might belive it.

I was going to ditch my 24v cause I can't get this kinda power and buy this stocker instead

The seller knows nothing about the car and is making hp claims he cant back up.
I spoke to seller on the phone he could tell me nothing !
I personally think it has close to 300 whores power
