new alfa stuff

just some interesting things i came across on the net recently. firstly a nice pic of the production version of the 8c

no comments needed on that, picture says it all no matter how the car goes.secondly is a nice technical article on the 147 and new q2 diff setup. very interesting reading for the tech heads

Patz,Interesting take on the differential..There is a UK based company,which for the life of me I now cannot remember,who has a similar setup available..Have had for years.We were looking at this for the race cars .The dicission was to go more conventional as these diffs were marginal on the torque handling...but very interesting..

Mats,Do you or Micke rember who the company is? Im sure we had chatted about them before.. :?:

I loved the breathless description of the 8C. It was like a love letter to a car. It is interesting that they felt a need at the end of the article to give a history of Alfa's use of 8 cylinder engines even going so far as to mention the stillborn GTV8.
