Fernando,I bought a lovely 1800 last Friday..This was going to be the replacement for my silver car wich is rusted beyond repair...So all the goodies will go into this.
The blue car above is a 1983 20l Ti..The engine compartment is so original and rust free that it is criminal NOT to save this car..Even the bootlid and bonnet are totally free from rust. Now anyone that knows Giulietta`s will know that the bootlid was rusted prior to being fitted to a brand new car!!
This is definitly a saver...
Ill watch you in my mirror at Swarties in it!! *grin*

Well, another hour or so and she will be home...

Ok,Its 3:30 pm and I dont have my car home...Took a battery and fuel to start her..no damn keys!!
So I give the coil 12v (this will give the rest of the car 12v as well btw.. 8) )
And 12v the solenoid.Nuttin`!
Want to put in fuel,no key!Off with the carb tops and fill the bowls.Start...BANG!!! Shit!!Carbs are lying next to the motor away from the manifold! All the carb rubbers are shot!!
The previous bloke had a piece of wire around the carbs and tied to the oil filler neck.I took this off..
Well, the wire was holding the carbs in place...Mmmmmm...Alfa`s....

Tomorrow morning Im taking Chuck with me..hehe..

Mike, yea, she`s all stripped down and covered in undercoat..will paint her in Jan.Saphire Blue...what a colour for the Giulietta..!

Drove her home and made it btw..was not easy with carbs wanting to fall next to the engine all the time though..

Have found a Maserati 24v v6 engine..Im soooo tempted to squeeze it in here..
Hell,those things go..
New v10 Beemer m5 is a nose length ahead of the Ghibli at 270km/h....Fantastic!! :D
