So I've been working on modeling a GTV6 in 3D Studio Max for school so why not post it up here.

I know that it's not 100% accurate but its close.

Sounds thanks to Kevin.

That is really cool. I like the way you seemed to have mixed engine sounds and music. The color of the car makes it look mean!

Powderhound, that's a fantastic bit of work. The only thing I missed was the pop corn and the ads.. :D

Cool movie!

A friend of mine is a 3DS max gun and tried teaching me how to use it. I forgot some of the steps, and got really frustrated so I gave up. Nice work. I can imagine how many hours of modelling, rendering and refining you've done.

Look forward to the sequel.

scott: 3DSM is a really confusing program to get used to. The movie shows my fourth attempt at a GTV6 and probably my 15th attempt at a car and this was the first one that came out decently. The movie took up about 60 hours of rendering time alone on my 4 machine render farm. I probably have a total of over 180 working hours into this project.

I have dabbled in Maya but because I had no one to show me the ropes I gave up.
I was just thinking this would be fantastic for projected body kits or changes to the look of GTV6: you could just add it in the 3d realm and if it looks shit you can just as easily change it. once it looks good make up a mold.
