I don't know about you but I am always interested how somebody else works on their cars. Some guys are lucky and have a complete kit bag including an electric hoist.
Others work in the snow in the gutter with the car jacked up on house bricks!
Show us how you do your thang . :) Throw some pics in too.

Usually I start on my back on the garage floor, but as soon as messing with her guibos she bends me over and gives it to me in tha... jk

I am the absolute king of working on the alfa in obscure places on the east coast. i changed a bent dedion tube at summit point raceway in the grass, a f'd up transaxle in a dairyqueen parking lot new watkins glen, and not to mention your every day repair when the car is jacked up 18inchs on four jack stands. You have gotta love it when stuff (rusty craps and gunk) falls in your eyes dont you?

Its normally tidier than this but since the racing has started the only thing that gets attention is the race car. Pic of the shelves.
Mats please note i am no longer lifting motors out with old cam belts(even though I have had no failures) and progressed to a chain as seen on the one motor and the only reason is the when one does break i will remember your comment and i will hate you to be correct .

How cold is "winter" in SA? :)

Mats, it dropped to -3 last week. Thought the end was near. Ok so it was at five in the morning with a strong wind. Had to buy a jacket and wear long pants but hopefully this cold spell will be over soon. It does warm up to 17 deg during the day. I think Barry only went out side at nine in the morning .

Mats I consider anything below 20 degrees Celcius to be to cold...

Wind was blowing at my place as I stay up on a hill that was seemingly designed to speed up the flow of wind from the valley below
Don't get any Heidi and Pieter ideas, this is SA not Switzerland...

Mr B did you spring clean the garage ? She is looking good.
