Well... somewhere around wednesday next week I pick up a new (to me) Alfa...
Flying from Brisbane to Adelaide and then driving back up in my "new" 66 GTV :D

Might have to start spending a little time on here again...

Yep, step nose GTV... LSD, 1800 alfetta engine, electronic ignition, decent exhaust, Konis...

Yeah, I'll probably bring the alfa out to QR a couple of times... at least untill the Falcon is finished :D

Yeah yeah, i know. but i've wanted one for ever, and it came up at the right price... Besides, I have to show the guys at work with a 156 and a 159 what a real Alfa is like instead of those Fiat things.

I don't think i could have another Alfetta series car, it would forever remind me of La Strega Nera (the car I should never have sold), and Porco Rosso (my dad's old GTV6GP)...

Maybe at some point i'll sell off the Falcon and build a really wild 116.

:D for the looks I like the 105 series better, handling is transaxle.
But a 105 can have a watt-linkage 8)

One off my favorites, the alfaholics car

Yeah Z, I did have a GTA ish rep planned for historic rallying etc, but between the bare shell i had lined up being sold out from under me, the rules on the particular rally changing and then moving 3,000km it kinda fell over....
This thing will be basically a daily driver (sharing duty with my motorbikes) but will possibly be a little GTA-ified as i go... a panhard is fairly high on the list of mods (I'll effectively be building 2 panhard setups for 2 different cars at about the same time. Being realistic, the packaging hassles of building my own watts aren't worth the minor improvements over a well thought out panhard), although a Sliding block would be cool and completely impractical :P

The Alfaholics GTA rep is beautifull... but i'm in two minds about keeping the bumpers on it.

There's a beautifully restored step nose GTV for sale in Oz but he wants AUD$50k for it. Not sure if anyone would be interested at that price???

not when I can pick up a plenty tidy GTV that was restored 18 years ago for 1/8 the price!
