Ok, so I haven't had alfa's since I moved up from adelaide, and because of that I have NFI about where to get Alfa parts up here?
I know its not a 116, but i'm chasing a set of late 105 steel wheels and centre caps (the ones that don't have the 3 lugs for the dog dish hubcap)? I'm potentially going to be looking for a set of GTV6/75 front calipers too...

Are they alloy calipers? or Iron?
The reason I want to go the Brembos is I remember how much of a difference the unsprung weight made to my GTV in ride and handling...

Did you get rid of the Wilwoods I sold you a while back? Those things are only as heavy as the 75 brake pads.

Hi Ben, pity only just read your mail now as a friend of mine (Graciano) packed his origional GTV3.0l in a container two weeks ago with a lot of other spares which is headed to Brisbane(could have loaded them for you) . Why i mentioning this is that I gave him a copy of the 2hr race in 1983 where these cars debuted . This is the most brilliant racing you have seen. Anyway if any of you who live in Brisbane you should look him up and check out his car and make a copy of that dvd. I will attach a pic of him and his car at my place three weeks ago.

After nursing (hah!) a slipping clutch 2500km at what 10l/100km and 3-3500rpm, the lil white car is home. Now I've got to replace the clutch.... least its fairly easy on these...

Mind you, this thing is an absolute Riot to drive!

Hey Ben, welcome back to the land of Alfa.
I have 2 sets of GTV6 Brembos with almost new pads in them amongst all of the other stuff I have for sale that I've never got around to advertising.

Where are you living these days - N,S,E or W ?

I'm over at Hawthorne at the moment, although i've had to leave the Giulia up at my mates farm in the sunny hinterland because she popped a headgasket running at the top of the range at Mapleton on the weekend :(
Had her sliding almost the whole way up what the Bike guys call "Sexy Bends" in the dark. Great fun.
RACQ are "recovering" her and dropping her at Avanti's for me tomorrow, hopefully I'll have her back late this week. Just don't have the time at the moment to deal with the head gasket.

Was going to suggest Avanti as a source for your original wheel query...somewhat redundant now.

Hope your headgasket prob has been sorted OK.

I'm up for a Brissie meeting of the alfa afflicted!
