Some of you might wonder why my address is Gotham City ,South Africa well because its a place of total savagery. Even though we have posted pics of out beautiful lanscapes we unfotunately cant escape our 22000 murders a year.
Well today was another very sad day. A long standing member of our Alfa club(concours judge) and devoted member to the community(soup kitchens etc) was gunned down for his empty briefcase. This did not happen in a dodgy area but in normal decent enviroment full of people.
So guys if any of you or your family are planning to come to the soccer world cup, think very carefully.
JJ, you made the right decision emigrating along with the rest of the South Africans in Oz.
Duncan will be sadly missed.

Kevin my deepest sympathies to Duncan's family.

South Africa is such a beautifull country but the crime here is threatening to destroy it completely one day.Don't think it's a race issue either guys, these criminals don't give a toss about your skin colour anymore. Our one rep was hijacked in our main airport here in JHB two months back!

Our one managers family held up in there home during broad daylight with his nine year old son getting a gun shoved straight into his head.My own brother was held up at his place of work in Midrand. They tied him up along with the other workers. The worst part he reckons is when they shoved the barrel of a machine gun down his mouth.Powerless doesn't begin to describe ones emotions after such an event.

My mom always asks me why I drive at high speed late at night and my response is I want to see the piece of s@3t hijacker keep up with me.Don't laugh they have stolen one of my GTV's before, in a small town on top of it

Anyway sorry about the tomato box speach it's just reading Kev's news got my blood boiling again.John Lennons' song Imagine comes to mind right about now. :(
