Owning a turbo charged Alfa and being concerned with fuel consumption is a bit like having your finger in a Netherlands dyke keeping the water out but wondering who's gonna take your spot when you need a toilet break..

The reason Im asking is because alfa made turbo gullies that were only released in europe .... My one is set up the same way only difference is
that the turbo is a little bigger its a hybrid T3/T4 according to Spces from alfa It should get 9.9 liters per hundred kms.
The european Turbo Ones came out only in diamond Black with a thin red stripe around the cars
They also only came out with full red Leather interiors the seats look like hot pants

Your car was shipped to Alpine Developments by the factory here for the conversion. The engine was built with modified 20l Fiat cast pistons,7:1 cr.
Alpine fitted the cast manifold, blow thru carbs and locked the ign. advance at 25 deg.A malpassi rising rate fuel pressure regulator was used with an electric fuel pump from the Alfetta 159 motronic car.
The main jets need NOT be bigger than 145`s!! Probably find someone has reamed them to 200++ at some stage.
If the engine is good-(read blow by!! Your ring lands are probably broken.)-you will get reasonable consumption..if you dont use the turbo!!!!!!.
The engine is low cr slug,so thats already not good for consuption..
EFI is the way to go with a higher cr ..
Build your engine with 86mm Opel Superboss Mahle forgings.8.5:1 cr and theyre bullet proof.
A spider turbo I did-efi,good performance,good consuption when driven sensibly..Alpine manifold used.

Nisaar nice buy there mate.Do you still have the GTV6 as well ?
Fuel consumption and a turbo Alfa 4 banger with carbs.....na,not happening in a hurry my friend.I well remember when a friend of mine was running one at about 1,5 bar boost, that it would use nearly 50 litres between Randpark Ridge to Tarlton and back again.

I have actually sat in a Turbodelta Giulietta.
Somewhere on a harddrive at home I have pictures of the same car, dual calipers up front and such. Turbodelta specific badges on the trunklid too.

Actually My dad and uncles were Alfa nuts from the GT Junior 1750 they had at least one of each model that came out here.
I wonder if you get more hardcore fans than ALFISTI. I dont hear of bmw race days or VW shows or Concource Merc Competitions here.....
