Hi guys,
Doesn't happen too often, but when its here its in a big way...everything stops as this country isn't geared for this sort of thing, we're mostly used to high summer temps and not -4*C days in Athens like today! Kids love it though, its weather made for them! This usually lasts for 3-4 days and that's already too long! Pipes freeze, stores and schools are closed and NO Alfas are to be seen on the road!

Not to be outdone by the Greek Gnome, here's a couple of snaps of what's happening in my neck of the woods in the southern sub tropics.

The snow looks really nice with the Greek buildings. I hope everything gets back to normal there soon.

That's my house there, and if I take another pic wdnesday or Thursday, there won't be even a trace of the white stuff...lasted long enough (3 days) to break one pipe elbow outside the wall and crack a plug on one of the solar water-heater panels. Now the streets are packed with salt and I pity the poor Alfas...takes a loooong time for the salt to disappear, may be there for months as the rains are very rare lately.

Yeah Z, this is a suburban one-way street and right where I'm standing is a small park; to my right is an elementary school, hence the lights.
The house ain't all mine, my parents live in the upstairs apartment, I have the ground floor (and the garage, heheh!)

Hey Greaser,
Stop harrassing our West Australian cousins and get busy weeding in that front garden. That snow wont hide 'em for long.
..and oh yeah, stop lurking in the park with your trench coat on..
talk about all that snow.
Did you hear the one about the midgit with the frigit digit?
