Autodelta made a few GTV-8 racecars. there was one on the Spettacolo Sportivo in Holland the last few years.
uses the Montreal v8. The one i saw had open exhausts and was considered way too loud to drive on Zandvoort circuit a few years back. it had some running issues as well, probably with the difficult Spica pump.
Very nice car but a hole lot different from the one on these pictures...
Will try if i can find some pictures of the one i saw.

it has the itb's... just needs th injectors, wiring, fuelpump and management.
Only problem with that is that it's not original...
i believe only a few (like3 or so)of these Autodelta gtv's were ever made.

im no purist.....i belive in correcting things when they should have been corrected
those v8 fetta's are SEXY...had a hunch that a 1 piece rear side window would have a sexy slimming effect to the body..boy was i right
i just wonder how nose heavy they feel in the corners

There's a bunch about these cars over on the BB... there's 2 of "La Bomba", the full tilt 3l Tipo 33 powered wide arched rally cars (Autodelta built), and there was a claimed 26 of the plain montreal powered cars built by a german importer, however there is no evidence of there being more than one built by the importer (a second was "homebuilt" and doesn't have the same bonnet)

There were 22 built and they cost a $hitload back then. Autohahn (the german importer) had asked for them to be built. Autodelta built a few (2-3) for race proving and one had an Aluminum body! I saw this car in Milan in 1986. It had the Montreal engine brought to 2.8liters, flat crank and reportedly made 320hp. It had previously won the Tour de France and the owner was getting ready to have it painted when I saw it.

I spent a little bit of time trying to find anything about the german built cars, but there's *Zero* evidence they got built other than a prototype and the later homebuilt one...
Would've been a lovely thing, no doubt...
