Hey guys, checking up on my email. had quite a few questions from new gtv6 owners and sent out replies. Sorry for the delay. I have been busy working on my 968 and its new turbo system (as usual, not enough power out of the box)

Anyway, hope everyone is doing well. any more Alfa questions, just send to my pm and I will try to get to them ASAP

On the other side of the engine, there is a crossunder-pipe in there somewhere...

Somehow i think the black plastic ducting is an airfilter box. since that is directly connected to the throtle i doubt there actually is a turbo in there.

mmm, right, 968 didn't come with a turbo did it? 3 liter inline four with a turbo sounds like big bang though... 8)

Yes however not in great numbers.
968 Turbo S
Porsche briefly produced a turbocharged 968 sold as "Turbo S". Only 15 were produced in total and only for sale in mainland Europe.Tests conducted in 1993 produced a 0 to 60 miles-per-hour time of 5.6 seconds and a top speed of approximately 156 miles-per-hour.Cornering: .93G,
Curb Weight:Manual Coupe: 3086lbs

A race variant called 968 Turbo RS was built as well for competition in endurance and sports car racing, but only 4 were produced and race appearances were very limited.

This is a link where X-rads disposable income will go no doubt http://www.rsbarn.com/968products.html
