3m Di Noc carbon fiber vinyl wrap

Post by Zamani »

I think it's silly to use this on hoods/roofs/boot lids on a car with good paint. However for the 75's door panels, which are in bad shape, might be a good cheap alternative to having it re-upholstered in drab gray vinyl!

And the process to wrap it is also quite easy (at least from the video's I've looked at).

I'm going to use this for my door panels, and the instrument cluster pod.

The 75's grille will get a real CF wrapped and clear coated :)

Mats, That looks like real CF. On intstrument clusters plates, OK, real CF sounds good. But on the door panel, I needs something a little bit more flexible and cheaper. This 3M stuff is good, the texture is quite real. And the 75 3.0 with Recaros (like mine) have the door panels with CF like cloth inserts.

I think the 75 with the later style grille would look great with a single layer of glossy CF wrapped around it.

I'm also trying to find a nice lower lip/splitter for the TS bumper.

Yup, the real deal with a layer of satin clear coat to make it glare free.
