GTV6 Compliance in Brisbane

Post by fortom »

Hello guys, finally moved over to sunny Brisbane and my car will be coming over sometime towards the end of next month.
I have approval paperwork all sorted to bring the car in to Australia, any recommendations/ advice on who to take the car to for compliance / roadworthy??

Cheers

Do you need an engineer's certificate or is it just a normal roadworthy. If the latter, John French Motors at Wooloongabba could do that. I get most of my mechanical work done there.

Welcome to Brissy.

Hi Jason thanks, it will need an engineers approval, then a road worthy. I will give John French a ring closer to the arrival time. There is a guy in Bowen hills as well that will do it, i think it is good to deal with people that have past experience with Alfas.

Update, car is being picked up tomorrow, and will be on the ship this weekend. :P
Got sorted with someone to do the inspection and roadworthy, so will be able to go through the Clem 7 in a couple of weeks. gonna sound great. Now no speeding tickets..........
