Strange that in the US when 2 or more V6 cars appear, we become really excited

I have been running the local (Pacific Northwest ~ Seattle) Alfa club track events since 2003 and (disregarding the 2009 national convention) I have never seen more than 2 GTV6's participating on any one day - so 3 was amazing.
I think the recent event had 40 cars participating - only ~4 were Alfas, so yes, 3 GTV6's is  :o

There are 3 GTV's just where i live... 1 is mine, the other 2 are from a friend. :)

But over here it's the same with the american cars. Everything with a v8 in it from the States is worth money over here. :? Even if it's the ugliest, rusting piece of cr*p you've ever seen they still ask a lot of money for it. Simply because it's american and rare over here. Getting parts for those cars is also expensive unless you buy on ebay or some america site, all the importers over here know it's not easy to get parts so they double or triple the prices..

I guess it also works the other way around... :|
